Annual Fund
The American Clock & Watch Museum was established in 1952 by Edward Ingraham and ten other Bristol businessmen and has matured into arguably the best collection of American clocks and watches on display in the world. Located on historic Federal Hill and at the seat of the origins of American clock manufacturing, much of the collection is displayed in the Miles Lewis House, a restored early 19th century home. Today, admissions cover only a small percentage of a museum's operating costs. The museum needs your support. Your donation will be used to:
-
maintain our current collection and facilities.
-
prepare for future acquisitions that will enhance the existing collection of over 4,000 clocks and watches.
-
continue our educational programming.
-
make the collection accessible by all visitors.
-
maintain the climate/environment in accordance with museum standards.
